Darren Till beats Yoel Romero in bloody BKFC battle and calls out Tommy Fury

DARREN TILL kept his unbeaten BKFC record intact after edging Yoel Romero by unanimous decision in Manchester.

The former UFC stars went the distance in a closely fought five-round contest, with all three judges scoring it 49-46 in Till’s favour.

Romero had his moments, particularly with his explosive bursts and a late hook that appeared to wobble Till. The Brit also suffered a nasty cut around his right cheekbone that left him bleeding heavily.

Till recovered to see out the final round and secure the win, with the pair embracing after the bell.

And the 33-year-old wasted little time calling out Tommy Fury, reviving a fight that was previously scheduled under boxing rules.

“Let’s get it on,” Till said. “I’m here in the bare knuckle. We can get on in the swing here.”
