Jake Paul reveals 14 dream opponents before retirement, including three Brits and world title shot

Jake Paul has unveiled an ambitious list of 14 potential opponents he wants to face before retiring from boxing.

The American has not fought since suffering a sixth-round knockout defeat to Anthony Joshua in December, which left him with a fractured jaw. However, Paul has recently returned to training, fuelling speculation about his comeback.

Taking to X, Paul named several high-profile targets, including Canelo Alvarez, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor, Ryan Garcia, Deontay Wilder and Chris Eubank Jr.

His list also features British stars KSI, Tom Aspinall and Darren Till, alongside Sean Strickland, Edgar Berlanga, Nate Diaz and Gervonta Davis. Paul wants to face McGregor in both boxing and MMA, while also demanding a world title opportunity.

One notable omission is Tommy Fury, who defeated Paul in 2023. Responding to a fan, Paul criticised Fury and claimed the Brit had missed his chance.

Canelo remains a major target for Paul, with discussions about a potential fight reportedly coming close to an agreement in 2025. Meanwhile, Ngannou and McGregor offer potential crossover matchups, although their fighting futures remain uncertain.

Paul has also reignited interest in facing KSI, his long-time YouTube rival, while a potential MMA rematch with Nate Diaz has previously been discussed.

Gervonta Davis rounds off the list after their planned exhibition fight collapsed last year.

Despite the ambitious names, Paul’s immediate priority is likely to be recovering from his injury and returning to the ring. Whether he can secure these matchups or land a world title shot remains to be seen.
