On November 18th in Vilnius, at the ASG arena, the biggest and most anticipated martial arts HERO’S tournament “KOK MEGA SERIES” will take place. In one of the most awaited bouts of this event, the world champion of the “Glory” and “KOK” organizations, Sergej Maslobojev (36-6), will face the English champion Rhys Brudenell (15-2).
S. Maslobojev has been on a winning streak for a long time, rightfully earning him the reputation as one of the best middleweight kickboxers in the world. Meanwhile, R. Brudenell is the No.1 heavyweight in the United Kingdom. Both these athletes have contracts with the GLORY organization, but by mutual agreement, this fight will take place in Vilnius. The global TV platform DAZN acquired broadcasting rights to more than 200 countries worldwide, while exclusive broadcasting rights in the Baltic states will belong to Go3 Sport. The German PPV platform FIGHT+ will broadcast this event in all territories except the Baltic states, and in the USA and Canada, it will be broadcasted by UFA.
Darnell Knoch, the general director of KOK’s German group, stated: “This is the most anticipated duel of 2023 in the professional kickboxing world. This event will captivate martial arts fans and will reach a vast audience globally.”
Akira Maeda, Chairman of the Global Bushido Federation Board, added: “This is a heavyweight bout belonging to the highest fighting leagues; we all await this fight in the KOK tournament.”
