Dana White has revealed an unusual challenge facing the UFC’s historic White House event just weeks before fight night.
The promotion is preparing to host its special Freedom 250 card outdoors at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but concerns have emerged over large numbers of insects around the planned fight area.
White admitted the issue became clear during a recent visit and immediately sparked discussions with the production team over possible solutions.
With powerful lighting expected to attract even more insects, organisers are now exploring ways to reduce disruption for fighters during the event.
The card remains set to feature a lightweight title clash between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, with Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane serving as co-main event.
