WWE star Kairi Sane suffered a gruesome eye injury during her Tag Team Championship match against Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
While attempting to jump off the ropes in the direction of reigning champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who were standing ringside, Kairi fell and hit her head on the edge of a table.
The 35-year-old was able to get up and continue, but she and Iyo Sky lost the match.
Both fighters squared up to Belair and Cargill after the event and Kairi was seen wiping the blood from her injury across her own face.
The Japanese wrestler later took to social media to share a picture of her injury, with her face covered in blood.
Fans were quick to comment, with one person writing: “I know that you’re hurt, but this is a bada** picture of you.”
Another wrote: “You’re a tough bada**. Glad you’re okay!”
A third said: “I’m glad you are alright. That hit on the announce table had me flinching.”
While a fourth wrote: “Kairi is a warrior!!”
Kairi later received stitches just above her left eye from the backstage medical team.
