Five weeks before fight night, emotions were already running high as Felix Sturm officially launched his farewell fight at a press conference in Stuttgart’s Porsche Arena — a venue closely linked to many of the biggest moments of his career.
The former five-time world champion confirmed that July 11 will mark the final chapter of his professional boxing journey.
“I wanted to leave the sport on my own terms and give my fans a proper goodbye,” Sturm said, adding that he promised his family this would be his last appearance in the ring.
