Tyson Fury has revealed he is having last-minute doubts ahead of his return to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov.
The former heavyweight champion admitted watching Derek Chisora’s fight with Deontay Wilder made him question his own level, describing the bout as “hard to watch” and raising concerns about whether he could face a similar decline.
Fury said the performance left him wondering if time away from the sport has affected him, especially after a 16-month layoff.
He has even told his team to be honest if he shows signs of slowing down, as he prepares for his comeback this weekend.
Despite the concerns, Fury still has major plans, including potential fights with Anthony Joshua and a possible trilogy with Oleksandr Usyk if he comes through his next bout successfully.
