Anthony Joshua could finally face Deontay Wilder after Eddie Hearn hinted the long-awaited showdown is now back on track.
Wilder called out Joshua following his win over Derek Chisora, telling him “let’s do it” as the two briefly came face-to-face after the fight. Joshua responded calmly, while Hearn later suggested his fighter is open to the clash.
Posting on social media, Hearn made it clear Joshua is ready for any challenge, adding after the fight that AJ would have “no problem” stepping in with Wilder.
The matchup has been talked about for years but never materialised, with both fighters taking different paths in their careers.
Now, with Joshua back in training and Wilder returning to winning ways, attention is once again turning to a potential blockbuster between the two heavyweights.
