Topuria vs Gaethje and Pereira vs Gane confirmed for UFC White House event

The UFC has officially revealed the headline fights for its historic White House event on June 14.

Ilia Topuria will face interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje in the main event of the card, which was announced by Dana White during the UFC 326 broadcast. The bout was expected after Gaethje defeated Paddy Pimblett earlier this year to claim the interim title.

In the co-main event, Alex Pereira will move up to heavyweight to take on Ciryl Gane for the interim title. A victory would give Pereira the chance to become the first fighter in UFC history to win championships in three different weight divisions.

The winner of that fight is expected to face heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall later this year to unify the belts.
