Tyson Fury hints at another retirement ahead of comeback fight

Tyson Fury has suggested his upcoming return to the ring could be followed by another retirement, as he prepares to face Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

The former heavyweight champion will be fighting for the first time since his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024 and admits he is focused only on the immediate challenge. Fury said that once the fight is over, he could decide to walk away from boxing again.

A potential victory could still leave the door open for a long-awaited showdown with Anthony Joshua, although Fury has hinted he may choose to retire instead of pursuing further bouts.

He also revealed that a recent tragedy involving Joshua, who lost two close friends in a car accident, played a role in motivating his own return, saying life is too short to delay doing what he loves.
