Vaclav Mikulasek has revealed he needed 28 stitches after his opponent almost tore off his ear during a wild main event at Clash MMA 15 in the Czech Republic.
The bout against Pavol Vasko descended into chaos just seconds into the first round when Vasko clamped down on Mikulasek’s ear during a takedown attempt. The referee immediately stopped the fight as Mikulasek screamed in pain, with blood pouring down his face.
Replays showed the full extent of the bite, shocking fans inside the arena. As Vasko tried to leave, angry supporters turned on him, throwing objects and even chasing him through the venue. Security stepped in as the situation escalated into a brawl.
Mikulasek later addressed the incident on social media, apologising for the scenes and asking for calm. He later joked about the injury, saying it hurt “100 times more than the dentist.”
