The UFC has confirmed plans to stage an event at the White House, and Conor McGregor wants to be at the center of it. The Irish star quickly declared his desire to take part in the historic show and laid out his terms on social media: McGregor is demanding $100 million and expedited visas for his entire family and friends so they can attend.
That figure far exceeds his previous earnings—he made about $30 million for his 2017 boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. The visa request is linked to the “Gold Card” program launched by Donald Trump’s administration, which allows donors contributing $1 million to the U.S. Department of Commerce to receive an accelerated immigration process.
The former two-division UFC champion hasn’t fought since 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier and suffered a serious leg injury. His planned return against Michael Chandler last year fell through due to a broken toe, but this summer McGregor re-entered the UFC’s anti-doping testing program. Whether he can secure his demands—and make another walk to the Octagon—remains unclear.
