Tyson Fury is eyeing a sensational return to the ring in 2026, as Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh teased a long-awaited trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury, 36, shockingly retired from boxing for the fourth time in January 2025—just a month after a razor-close rematch loss to Usyk in Saudi Arabia, where he also dropped his unbeaten record and WBC belt in their first clash.
Despite continuing to train intensely, Fury had shown little interest in a comeback—even for a mega-fight with Anthony Joshua—until recently.
Appearing at an IBA pro boxing event in Turkey, Fury reignited talk of facing Usyk again. Alalshikh, the mastermind behind the blockbuster Saudi events, confirmed: “The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026… We have a rabbit to hunt!”
Usyk, 38, returns to action on July 19 at Wembley Stadium against Daniel Dubois in a rematch of their 2023 bout, with all heavyweight belts on the line.
Fury, who famously nicknamed Usyk “the rabbit,” is determined to settle the score—this time on British soil. “If I was going to come back, I would come back for Usyk,” he said. “But I want a fair fight and a fair result in England.”
He added that his wife Paris has given him the green light to fight again—opening the door for yet another chapter in one of boxing’s most unpredictable careers.
