British welterweight champion Conah Walker is set to defend his Lonsdale belt for the first time this Saturday, June 21, against Liam Taylor in Birmingham. The fight takes place on the undercard of Galal Yafai vs Francisco Rodriguez Jr and will be broadcast live on DAZN.
Walker, from Wolverhampton, claimed the title in dramatic fashion back in January, stopping Harry Scarff with a stunning 11th-round knockout after trailing on the scorecards.
Liam Taylor, unbeaten since his 2021 loss to David Avanesyan, gets another shot at the Lonsdale belt. His previous attempt in 2019 ended in a technical draw due to a head clash against then-champion Chris Jenkins.
The bout is expected to begin around 8pm BST at BP Pulse LIVE in Birmingham. Fans can catch all the action live on DAZN, which is available in over 200 countries.
