MMA fighter Danielius Grebliunas: “My biggest worry is not forgetting my hat in the winter to hide my broken ears.”

“I am just like any other regular person in everyday life. I have a family, a job, and goals I’m trying to achieve,” says Danielius Grebliunas, describing himself in a few words. For him, fighting in the ring is just one part of what he calls life. It’s not just an athlete’s routine – like many of us, Danielius strives for a calmer pace of life, where his biggest concern, as he puts it, is remembering to wear a hat in winter to hide his broken ears.

Despite his calm demeanor, Danielius returns to the ring even more determined after a successful debut at the MMA Bushido event in September. This time, he faces the experienced fighter Marvin Aboeli from Suriname. “My opponent likes to wrestle, so this will be a great opportunity to test whose wrestling is better,” smiles the athlete. Danielius trusts his wrestling skills and knows that every opponent brings new challenges. “My mental preparation is solid, but it’s important to stay clear-headed,” he adds. Despite the intensity of his preparation, Danielius remains humble, avoids empty promises, and agrees that the fight could take an unexpected turn. “The fight plan often goes out the window in the first few minutes,” he says, aware that every opponent in the ring is a unique challenge.

Danielius believes that in recent times, trash-talking in the sport often overshadows the true essence of a fighter. “A fighter is someone who trains systematically and consistently improves their craft,” Danielius emphasizes, and he believes the audience is drawn by actions, not empty words.

On November 16th, in Vilnius, at the TwinsBet Arena, Danielius Grebliunas will speak through his actions in the  ring.

Tickets for the event are available at bilietai.lt.
