UFC star Drakkar Klose scored the “KO of the year” by picking up his opponent and slamming him unconscious.
Klose faced Joe Solecki at the Moody Center and headed into it off the back of five wins in six bouts.
And the American made it three on the spin in stunning style as he picked Solecki up and slammed him on the mat in round one.
The impact of the slam was so brutal it actually knocked Solecki out – to the amazement of fans.
One said: “KO OF THE YEAR! Treated him like a golf club.”
Another added: “Absolutely wild.”
One hailed: “INSANE KNOCKOUT.”
Despite Klose’s KO, the night was not without controversy as fighter Bobby Green was defencelessly pummelled on the ground.
Jalin Turner floored Green with a one-two combination which appeared to put the lightweight out.
But Green did manage to cover up on the floor while Turner pounded away on top of him.
Turner then landed a series of unanswered and undefended strikes as Green laid on the ground defenceless.
It took ref Kerry Hatley an age to finally step in leaving fans and viewers enraged at the dangerously late stoppage.
He said: “One of the worst I’ve ever seen.
“The difference is we’ve had some refs say some dumb s*** in the past, like, ‘I allowed her to be a warrior tonight,’ and goofy s*** like that.
“He knows he made a mistake tonight and does not feel not feel good about it, so it’s unfortunate.”
White added: “Definitely a bad stoppage. Very bad.”
