Dream Boxing is coming back to Germany

The event will take place on June 20st in Braunlage. World champion Marco Huck will make his comeback in the ring against 35-year-old fighter Evgeny Lazaridis.

The Greek fighter, who lives in Frankfurt is known for his martial spirit and determination. He has 22 professional fights, he won 18 of them, 12 of them by knockout.

“I’m glad the search for opponents is over,” says M. Huck. “We had several good boxers, but they all declined except for Evgeny. I thank him for stepping up to fight me.”

The fight is planned for 10 rounds, just like Huck’s last fight where he won against his opponent Denni Lewandowski on August 29th, 2020 in Braunlage. The 15-time champion is aware that it won’t be easy for him on May 20th.

“Evgenius is a tough. That’s because of his height and other advantages. But if I want to fight for a big title again, and I really want to, I need serious opponents,” says Huck. “I don’t have time to waste.”

For the Berlin resident, this will be his 49th fight. He has won 41 of them, 28 of which were by knockout. Lazaridis is 1.98 meters tall and three years younger than Huck. Because there were no ideal training conditions in his homeland in Greece, he decided to move his residence to Germany nine years ago. Initially, he looked for success in Berlin, but he didn’t find it there and continued his journey towards Hesse. There he lives in southwest Frankfurt and feels very good.

“The fact that Marco decided to fight me shows that he is seriously considering his intentions. I’m happy about the fight and that I will be fighting it as the main event of the evening,” says Lazaridis.

His most significant fight to date took place in July 2020 in Magdeburg. After a brave fight lasting ten rounds, he lost to European champion Agit Kabayel.

It should be noted that heavyweight world champion Alexander Usyk has invited him several times to work as a sparring partner in Ukraine for a few weeks.

Boxing fans will also be able to enjoy another exciting fight. Tommy Punch, a 26-year-old athlete, will be fighting in this exclusive event. The boxer has won 20 fights, 14 of which were won by knockout. His opponent will be announced next week.

The fights of Marco Huck and Tommy Punch will be broadcast on PRIME FIGHT HD channel, www.primefightplay.com, and DAZN.
