WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase has switched the ring for the Bible as he is now a Christian minister.
DiBiase was one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling during the 70s and 80s, a period many remember as the sport’s golden age.
The ex-WWE Tag Team Champion performed as The Million Dollar Man, who was a heel wrestler obsessed with money that even tried to buy the WWE Championship from Andre The Giant.
The former heavyweight was one of the most charismatic grapplers inside the ring and on the mic.
The American even shared the ring with some of wrestling’s biggest legends, such as Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Bret Hart.
The 69-year-old retired from in-ring competition in 1999 and took a backstage role in Vince McMahon‘s promotion soon after and rarely appeared on TV.
But he has crossed over to a different path as he now goes around the world preaching the gospel.
DiBiase founded the Heart of David Ministry and travels with the church for various camps as well as conferences.
He now tries to help people who are troubled because of drugs or other problems.
The former Million Dollar Champion credits his new passion to his past sins and his desire to help people not to go down a similar dark path.
That is why he also wrote the book Every Man Has His Price, which is a part-autobiography and part-Christian testimony.
The popular wrestler’s son, who also performed as Ted DiBiase, wrestled in WWE for a while as well.
Di Biase Jr joined the company in 2008 and followed in his father’s footsteps as he enjoyed a lot of success during his early years and even held the Million Dollar Championship.
But after forming a stable with Randy Orton as well as Cody Rhodes and sharing the ring with the likes of John Cena, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, he fell down the pecking order and was released in 2013.
