UFC star Conor McGregor calls himself the ‘Irish Godfather’ as he hypes up movie debut as fans all say the same thing

CONOR McGREGOR praised himself as the Irish Godfather as he continues to hype his impending movie debut.

The Dubliner will make his first film appearance in the upcoming remake of the 1989-classic Road House.

He will star in Doug Liman-directed feature alongside Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal.

McGregor appeared to hype up the film – which doesn’t yet have a release date – in a post on Instagram.

Accompanying a photo of himself in a three-piece suit with his hair slicked back, he said: “What I want when I want. Or you’re dead.

In the comments, sister Aoife said: “😍🔥”

Another follower said: “God father feels😍”

Another commented: “Hollywood vibes🥶🤝🔥🔥🔥⚡”

Another said: “Bro I’m 100% watching this movie I think you’re going to be a special actor !”

The former UFC double champion was in the Dominican Republic doing pre-production for Road House.

He was meant to return to the Emerald Isle for Bellator 285 in Dublin.

But the Dubliner was stranded on the Caribbean island due to Hurricane Fiona as flights were cancelled due to the weather.

Clearly not phased by the situation, McGregor posted pictures with his son on his lap as they watched sparring sessions on the fighters’ mobile phone.

McGregor captioned the pictures with a post, that read: Watching sparring footage with my youngest son Rían in the Dominican Republic. We have decades banked.

Ireland’s first ever UFC champion has three children with his partner Dee Devlin – Conor Junior, Croia and Rian.

The Dubliner has previously suggested that both Rian and his brother, Conor Jr, could have a future in the UFC.

Last May, he revealed that he was training both of his male offspring to follow in his footsteps ‘from day one’.
